Greater Rochester Chamber Top 100 marks 40th anniversary as 1,800 people gather Thursday Hunter Wright News10NBC ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The annual Greater Rochester Chamber Top 100 list took place on Thursday. It was the list’s 40th anniversary, and over 1,800 business and community leaders from the Greater Rochester region attended. The top 100 companies are determined by dollar and percentage revenue growth over three years. The ceremony aimed to celebrate the fastest-growing privately owned companies in the nine-county region. The companies in the list employ over 24,000 people, and recorded over $5.8 billion in combined revenues in the latest fiscal year. WeTheHobby, a retail sports card sales, resale, card breaking, entertainment, and wholesale operations company, came first place, followed by Stellar Roofing and O’Connell Electric Company. “It’s important to set aside a time to celebrate the fastest-growing businesses at an event like this because when you’re running a business, it’s so easy to get down in the weeds of, you know, this and that. But, it’s important to step back and really look at what’s happening, and more importantly than even any of the companies individually, the collective growth of our companies are growing,” said Xander Rohring, the director of communications at Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce. The 2027 nomination process starts in February and goes through the end of June. To see the full list of ranked businesses, click here. The rankings begin on page 14 in the link.
